Hey Y'all!
I hope all you guys had an amazing Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate!
I know my family and I had such an amazing time, and I wanted to share some awesome moments from our holidays.
Foremost, I went to dinner with my sister and a couple of her friends at West Ville East

After cleaning my sister's entire apartment on Thursday, my parents finally arrived in New York late that night!
The next day, we went to the family's house that my sister nannies for, for their Christmas party. They live in Brooklyn Heights, so we took my parents afterwards to see the Promenade and let them try Grimaldi's amazing pizza--that I first tried this Spring Break when my sister, Scott, and I tried all the awesome food places in New York

Went to The Smith again :) Mac & Cheese this time |

On Christmas Eve, we had brunch at my sister's favorite restaurant, Supper, then we went to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree, traveled down 5th avenue to Central Park, went ice skating, then finished off the night by eating Shake Shack and exchanging our traditional ugly Christmas pajamas!

It was seriously one of the best Christmas Eves I've ever had. On Christmas, we woke up really early, and we all loved our gifts. Some notable ones being the Michael Kors watch my sister got me, a new make up brush set, new make up, two new pairs of shoes, a few clothes, and tons of candy!
But the best gift was seeing my mom open the book I made her--containing all the reasons why I love her and tons of pictures from over the years! She cried soooo hard. She also got an iPad, which is very amusing to watch her adjust to.
We also had a delicious breakfast and dinner--consisting of the traditional Breakfast Casserole my mom makes us every year, and the turkey, carrot soufflé, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, and bread our mom and stepdad made--SOOOOO YUMMY!

Then unfortunately, we had to pack up the car and head straight back down south to North Carolina! But I had an amazing time in New York and will definitely never forget this holiday season there!
The last thing I wanted to mention was that my stepdad got me one more really unexpected gift that I've fallen in love with. He got me the Kindle Fire, and I've been glued to it the past two days reading the other thing I've fallen in love with: The Hunger Games trilogy. If you love reading, I suggest both of these things!!
I'll have a post coming soon about my favorite holiday, New Years, so look out for that!
Love y'all,
-Alexa Dorian
